Since the early 70's, S&B has recognized the value of applying technological "know how" to the public sector. During the 80's the municipal engineering division expanded its services to the transportation arena with the milestone design of a $107 million interchange - Beltway 8/ 1-45 South - for the Texas Department of Transportation.
The emergence of the Transportation group in the early 1990's dictated S&B's consolidation of its municipal and transportation departments under a new umbrella - the Infrastructure group. In 1994, the Infrastructure group became S&B Infrastructure, Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the S&B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd. (SBEC), completely dedicated to providing advanced engineering solutions to the public sector.
Today S&B Infrastructure, Ltd. is the fastest growing subsidiary of the S&B group of companies who provides manpower of more than 3000 employees and revenues in excess of $500 million annually.
