As far back as the early 70’s, S&B recognized the value of applying technological "know-how" to the public sector. We pioneered ozone treatment in the Houston area by engineering the Wastewater Treatment Plant for The Woodlands, Texas. As a result, a municipal engineering division was created to accommodate the growing needs of a rapidly growing metropolitan area.

During the 80’s, the municipal engineering division expanded its services to the transportation arena with the milestone design of a $107 million interchange – Beltway 8 / I-45 South – for the Texas Department of Transportation.

The emergence of the Transportation Group in the early 90’s dictated S&B’s consolidation of its municipal and transportation departments under a new umbrella – the Infrastructure Group.

In 1994, the Infrastructure Group became S&B Infrastructure, Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of S&B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd.), completely dedicated to providing advanced engineering solutions to the public sector.

Today S&B Infrastructure, Ltd. is the fastest growing subsidiary of the S&B group (who provides manpower of more than 3,000 employees and revenues in excess of $500 million annually).

Pipeline Services
